...Boise Idaho Market Update  End-of-year numbers are in and it looks like another year of very low supply ahead. Despite inflation and rising interest rates hurting affordability for those on the outside, I expect home prices to jump again this spring.    

...Inventory Plummeted in December  A drop in listings is normal this time of year, but sales have remained seasonally strong, holding us with very limited supply.  For details, see my Market Monitor, now updated to Jan 1st, for monthly updates on the Boise Metro housing markets; home prices, inventory, new construction, current trends and 14-year history.

...Mortgage Rates jumped again this week to the highest point in 21 months, averaging 3.56% on a 30-yr fixed owner-occupied loan, according to the Freddie Mac weekly survey.
